Great food and really fun ambience. We had a slight issue with one of our table burners, but the service made up for it. Our server, Michael, was great! He explained how everything worked right away and checked on our table regularly to make sure the food was good. He even gave us ice cream at the end of the meal. Really appreciated the attentive service and delicious food!

Today's kpot experience was not what we are used to. Normally after being seated we are taken care of quickly and the server Normally checks on us fairly frequently but today it felt like they sat us in the forgotten section. We ordered but the food took to long, then after we got our food they turned our stove off and we had to wait longer to get the server to turn it back on. Then when we saw that our stove was about to catch fire and tried to get someone's attention the other server's were too busy in the front talking to each other. The place was not busy either. I think I saw maybe 4 other tables with customers. I can't complain too much about our server because it felt like she was there alone but they definitely need more training.

Absolutely amazing experience at K-Pot in East Brunswick! Our waiter Matt was hands down one of the best servers I’ve had anywhere. He was extremely helpful, answered all of our questions about the food, explained everything clearly, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. What really stood out was that he gave us time to actually enjoy our meal instead of constantly standing over us or interrupting while we were eating. He was very respectful, professional, friendly, and genuinely a great guy. The service was top tier, and because of Matt, we’ll definitely be coming back. To the manager of this company β€” Matt deserves recognition and honestly should be promoted. Employees like him are hard to find. Highly recommend this place!

We went to this place for dinner on a weekend, and it was packed! But the restaurant was huge, so we had plenty of tables to choose from, and we didn’t have to wait at all. Plus, the service was super fast once we placed our order. We really enjoyed trying the hot pot, which comes with several soup bases to choose from. We could also order ingredients/entrees as much as we wanted like noodles, meat options, and veggie options. They have a section for dips, and we could make our own! It was our first time trying hot pot, and I’m already looking forward to going back. The staff was quick and efficient, and there were so many options to pick from. I highly recommend this place!

Saw the review about the cockroach near the salad bar in December of 2025 and thought β€œsurely they did something about that?” … Went to this Kpot on Jan 2 to celebrate friends’ birthdays and things were going well until a cockroach visited our table, right next to my friend’s dishes and napkins. We covered it with another plate and immediately let a staff member know, who whisked the roach and plates somewhere to the back. We were told a manager would come speak to us, but it was a while before another staff member came, asked what happened, and took pictures of the photo i took on my phone. A third staff member came after a bit of a wait, who I guess was a manager because we were then offered a discount and change of utensils & plates. Everyone had lost their appetites by then, and another friend discovered brown, fluffy bits in her water that honestly looked like mold. It took 3 tries to flag a staff member to change the water. We noticed lackluster service after these incidents and had to ask multiple times for items we ordered via the ipad that never came. The 25% discount was applied before the large group mandatory gratuity (we were a group of 7, $37 pp) so the cost was the
